Kefalonia (III)

On Wednesday we decided to try one of the walks advertised around Fiskardo –  Footpaths of Erissos.  We were keen for the 2.5 hour walk called the Cypress Trail, which started and ended in Fiskardo. It took us around 20 minutes to find the start of the trail but after that the trail was very well marked. That said, we definitely lost the trail for awhile and went the long way round up to the top of a huge hill to get to the village of Katsarata. But we found the path back down again! It was a lovely day, and hot, and after the walk we inhaled two kebabs.
